it has been a week! life is lookin up…i had a pretty good day yesterday…i even got to eat amazing mash potatoes and gravy made by my mother and wonderful scrambled eggs made by the boy named paulie. We just made sure they were a little creamier and they slid right down. it feels so good not to be eating ensure every meal. i don’t think i will be eating/drinking that for a long, long time. i have pretty much weened myself off the hardcore drugs…just once in the morning when i wake up, for some reason i can’t wake up feeling great. i try not to sleep anywhere on my face…but is so hard! anyhoo…thought this was better pick then other ones i have been posting. peace friends! heidi lynn

I can’t tell you how bad I feel for you having to go through all of this. I know everyone says that it’ll be worth it in the end, but man, it sure looks like it sucked! You really are a trooper to be so ‘up’ about everything. I hate pain. I’m a total wuss. You amaze me. And your good husband. I’m so glad that both of you found someone so wonderful. We’re praying for you. I’m sad that with this ‘break’ you’re getting from regular life you’re not even sleeping in! It said you posted this at 6 am! Yeesh!

PS- I’ve been working on that wonderful stuff you sent me. You’re the absolute best!

I don’t know why you had this surgery because honestly you are beautiful. But I’m sure you had some reason you needed this surgery or wanted it. Or at least we hope so because YIKES it looks painful. Prayers for a speedy recovery. We hope you feel better soon! Can’t wait to see you up close and personal in the SBE store!

I love Paul almost as much as you do! I am so glad he is taking good care of you. He is the best and I am so glad you married him. I can’t wait to see him in action as a Dad someday. He will rock … and the love and compassion he is showing now only proves it. You are a good picker.

It is nice to see you improving everyday. I am glad you put these photos up. It is comforting. I know healing is slow and lonely, but don’t worry, the Bazzill girls will be calling you on Tuesdays for your great advice. Get those typing fingers ready to email me.

I was so happy when I talked to your mom on Sunday and found out that your surgery had gone well! It’s awesome that there is knowledge so great that you can correct even jaws and bone structures! Hey, Heidi ho,
I can relate to your dependance on others. It really humbles you to have to give up that independance. I too think you’re beautiful. We are truly blessed to have great family support.
I had my first surgery yesturday for the reconstuction process. OUCH! is putting it mildly. Right now I’m groggy from pain meds and feel light there is an elephant sitting on my chest.
I love you Heidi and that neat husband of yours is “Top NOTCH”. I don’t know how to send you photos of my bald head put that would be simply gross anyway. Take you are in my prayers always. Continue to get well.

I have been thinking about you so much! I’m glad everything went well. You look much better for one week than jaymee did and his surgery wasn’t as gruesome as yours. It will be worth it in the long run. Don’t expect too much too soon. Healing is a long process and for sure don’t overdo it. There’s no going back, so let people baby you for a while. You deserve it! Kick back and read a good book – or ten. If you need one, lemme know and I’ll send you some of my favorites.
